Day 235 - Dapper Little Big Man

"Do you think the bow-tie is a little much?"

No, Leevi, I don't.  Bow ties are awesome. Leevi all dressed up in his Easter best.

Day 234 - Egg Hunt

"I have to go find eggs, but I don't get to eat any of the candy?  What a rip!"

We went to an Easter egg hunt in Eden today with Grandma Alice and cousins aplenty.  Leevi did enjoy the little plastic eggs, but not the candy.  Sorry little buddy, not until you are one.

Day 233 - The Littlest Houdini

"Ha! They will never find me now!"

Yep, Leevi is a regular Houdini.  At least the bucket is camouflage (sort of).

Day 232 - Object Acquired.

"Yesss!  I finally have the remote!"

Joke's on you Leevi.  That is the remote to the DVD player that isn't even in the living room!

Day 231 - Mischief

"I'm just thinking about puppy dogs and strawberry jelly.  I'm not up to no good.  Honest!"

You can see the mischief in his eyes.  I swear it.

Day 230 - Cribgate Update

 

"Boy, this pack and play gets more uncomfortable each night.  You should really fix it Dad."

I know, I'm a bad Father.  But the bolt really is hard to find!

Day 229 - AHHH!

"AHHH!"

Day 228 - Can't Get Me Down

"Just because my nose is running, doesn't mean that I can't be happy."

Nothing keeps this kid down.  Perhaps it isn't a cold, but just being stuffy from all of those dang teeth coming in all at once.

Day 227 - Head Cold.

"I don't feel so hot today."

Leevi came down with a little cold.  That has to be the worst. You are a baby, you can't take any cold medicine, and you can't tell anyone how you are feeling.  Blech.

Day 226 - Not Tired.

"Look, I am not tired.  I just felt like a little rest and a snack."

Likely story. Likely story.

Day 225 - Well Equipped Baby

"I wouldn't think of heading into the jungle without my trusty ring sash."

Just imagine, you are deep in the jungle, miles and miles from civilization, and all you can think about is "boy, I wish I had some interlocking toy rings to play with," but alas you forgot them at home.  Never experience this fear with the all-new ring sash!

Day 224 - New Floor, Same as the Old Floor

"Huh, this rug looks mysteriously similar to the one at our old house."

If there is a big negative about the new place, it is the carpeting.  It is pretty horrible.  Good ol' trusty area rug to the rescue!

Day 223 - Hawaiian Gifts

"Thanks Grandpa.  This hat is awesome!"

Grandpa Roger and Nanna Denise came back from Hawaii with some gifts that were a big hit.

Day 222 - Bring On the Food!

"Feed me.  I'm Hungry!"

Day 221 - The Mythical Duplo Tower

"Sure Paige, let's see how big it can get. (psych!)"

Sibling rivalry at its finest is already emerging.  Paige worked as hard as she could to build as big of a tower as possible.  Leevi worked just as hard to bring it all crashing down.  I think he needs to start reading We Share Everything, by Robert Munsch.

Day 220 - An Even Bigger Smile

"What a great day!"

Joy.  Simple joy.

Day 219 - Sleep at last.

"ahh, sweet sweet pack and play."

Lots to do when you move.  Lots to do. Very difficult to fit it all in a day.

Day 218 - Smiley Guy

"Hi!"

Toothless baby smile is almost completely over.  Those teeth are starting to get longer!

Day 217 - Reasonable Accomodations

"Not sure this thing is built for two Dad..."

Well, one minor casualty of the move was the fact that the bolts that hold Leevi's crib together ended up getting stripped.  Of course, they are some random sized thread that is not easily replaceable.  As such, he had to spend some time in the pack and play.  Paige certainly enjoyed the lower height as she could just hop in any time the desire struck her.  Leevi wasn't always quite as impressed.
