Leevi 365: April 2013

Day 139 - Party Hat

"Do you like my hat?"

Christmas day has arrived, and Leevi was loving his new winter hat. The family hopped in the car shortly after opening presents and headed to the airport in Milwaukee for the vacation to Orlando. It was tough to head back to St. Paul by myself to work, but some times you have to do what you have to do. At least I was able to join them a couple days later.

Day 138 - Santa is coming!

"Uncle Bryan, you should go to bed. Santa can't come until everyone is asleep."

It was a late Christmas Eve (and early Christmas day) in Eden, but it was really nice to spend it together. Even though I had to drive back to St. Paul as the rest of the family headed to the airport to fly to Orlando, it was still a really good time.

Day 137 - Sibling Excitement

"So when does Dad stop making us do this.? Seriously, getting old."

They have a lot of fun together, and if Paige can manage to not rip his arms off, they will continue to have a lot of fun together in the future too.

Day 136 - Easy Livin'

"I think right here is perfect. Good view of everything really."

Leevi loves his new chair. He can't quite stay in it for more than a few seconds, but that will come in time.

Day 135 - Poker Face

"Of course I'll sleep all night long. Trust me."

Day 134 - Small, but workable

"Meh, it's not so bad. I'll make do."

He might be outgrowing it, but it doesn't stop him from catching a good nap.

Day 133 - Travelin Man

"I think this thing is starting to get a little small."

Leevi enjoys the car, but he is already starting to outgrow his car seat.

Day 132 - The Lights and the Buzz

"Ok, now!"

It's Christmas in Minnesota, and it's hard to ignore that it feels like Winter all the time,

Day 131 - Impromptu Chili's

"So is it 2 for 1 on bottles too?"

Impromptu visit to Chili's for dinner. Leevi managed it like a champ.

Day 130 - SledFest

"Woah, this is fast."

Leevi's first sledding adventure. he didn't quite get the process yet.

He might not have understood the sledding, but he did enjoy hanging out outside for a change.

Day 129 - Duuude!

"Duuuuddeeee. Check it out man, I'm a Sea Turtle!"

I have no idea why this photo reminds me of Crush from Finding Nemo, but it does.

Day 128 - Mobile of Terror

"Uhhm, Dad...I don't want to make a big scene or anything (but those animals are MOVING!"

Mobiles just don't interest Leevi much. I think he finds them quite suspect.

Day 127 - Early to Bed, Early to Rise

"Ok, I'm packing it in."

Leevi is starting to fall asleep a little earlier than he used to fall asleep. He must need to get in early since he clearly needs to get up at 3:00 AM.

Day 126 - Storytime

"[Sigh...]{Yeah, that is fine, Knuffle Bunny it is."

Leevi joined Paige for storytime tonight. He was a little bored with Knuffle Bunny. But then again, even Leevi has heard it enough times to memorize every line.

Day 125 - Gratuitous Baby Portrait.

"Again?"

Yes, again. You can never have too many.Even if there is a giant yellow and orange giraffe growing out of the back of the baby's head.

Day 124 - Rockabye

"So much light, and so much going on. How can you possibly expect me to sleep?"

Leevi still struggles with sleeping unless his head is covered with a blanket. Makes for some interesting rocking. You have to make sure that he thinks his head is covered, but the blanket can't be so close that it makes it hard to breathe. Quite the exercise. Especially when he tries to play with the blanket.
