Day 165 - Baptism

"Thank you Pastor Torgerson."

Leevi was baptized today at Augustana, it was a very nice service, and they do a great job with positioning the baptismal font.

Leevi also wore a light blue sweater that I believe his great grandmother knitted.  It topped off his outfit for sure.

Day 164 - The Sheep Becomes the Shepherd.

"These presents are the best.  Thanks!"

Leevi received some early baptism presents from the family.  He had a good time opening them up.

Day 163 - Early Morning Sitting Practice

"I'm up.  Look at that!"

This was taken early the next morning when it was just Leevi and I awake.  And yes, I am fully aware that he basically alternates between two sets of Pajamas.  The issue is that he outgrew all of his clothes so quickly.  These are 12 month pajamas...

Day 162 - Peas?

"Peas?  Again?  Gross."

Leevi doesn't like peas.  At all.

Day 161 - Time to Eat

"OK, I'm ready to eat."

Leevi's food choices are expanding slowly but surely.  Not just oatmeal any more.  Veggies, fruit, yogurt, all sorts of good things.

Day 160 - Late Nights and Great Nights

"zzz."

Better sleeping patterns are emerging, which helps everyone out a lot.  He isn't quite making it all the way through the night yet, but soon.

Day 159 - Guard Dog

"Keep me safe, Kaija, please?"

Kaija does really well with Leevi.  He can pretty much hang on her, and she puts up with it.  Not only that, but Kaija is also very protective of Leevi.  I guess that is the way it goes with a kid and his dog.

Day 158 - Every Day Tears

"But I'm soooo huuunnngrrry!"

Leevi still isn't much a of a crier.  Just when he is hungry or overtired.

Day 157 - Getting Ready for the Game.

"Get ready big sister.  It's going to be a tough one!"

The big Packer v. 49ers playoff game.  Did not turn out so well for the Packers.  Maybe next year.

Day 156 - Bear Hug.

"I...can't...breathe....!"

Paige sure loves her brother.  Some times a little too much.  He takes it like a champ most of the time though.

Day 155 - Headbutt!

"Take that, Phone!"

Either a headbutt or wanting to get really close to the camera.
