Day 154 - A Single Tear

"That was a pretty tough day today Dad."

Leevi had a bit of a tough day.  Some times he just gets out of sorts.  Lots of tears.  Usually he can settle down for bed though.

Day 153 - Prince Charming?

"haha, really funny sister.  You got me."

paige thought it would be just hilarious to put her crown on Leevi.  He wasn't quite as amused

Day 152 - Balancing the Bottle

"This one appears to be empty.  Can I have another?"

Big plus, Leevi has figured out how to hold his own bottle for the most part.  Definitely helps in getting things done.

Day 151 - Lucky 13 and a Caterpillar

"Check it out,  free toy!"

We decided to grab a bite to eat at our new favorite place, Lucky 13 in Mendota.  As an added bonus, they give toys to the kids.  Not just little tiny plastic figurines either.  Actual toys.  Leevi was pretty stoked about his caterpillar.

Day 150 - Anticipation of the Game

"This sitting up stuff is getting a lot easier!"

Leevi is making progress with sitting up all by himself.  Too bad he isn't making progress at wearing Purple and Gold...

Day 149 - Tucked in Tight

"..."

Leevi has been sleeping pretty well.  A lot of nights he can make it all the way through to the morning.  Sometimes he still takes that extra bottle though.  The cereal has helped with him not waking up hungry in the middle of the night though.

Day 148 - Just a Hat.

"Sure Dad, take a picture.  I'm used to it."

Goofy hats will never get old.  Never.

Day 147 - Immunizations and Tweety Bird.

"Ouch!"

Well, the inevitable round of shots has come around again.  Leevi wasn't very impressed, and Tweety Bird did little to soothe him.  In the end it is just a little sacrifice for the greater good.

Day 146 - Jet-Setter / The Big Let-downski

"I have a good feeling about this one Dad.  The Badgers will pull it off."

Both Paige and Leevi managed the flight to and from Florida very well.  Paige did a much better job of picking the winner of the Rose Bowl.  Leevi not so much.

Day 145 - Movie Star

"Enough talking.  Just send me the script.  I will take a look and call you if it is worth anything."

Enough of that kids stuff.  On to Universal Studios - Island of Adventure.  Turns out there is even less for Leevi to be interested in there.  At least Paige had enough fun on the trip for the both of them.  Plus Leevi was able to legitimately rock his shades.  The ladies loved it.

Day 144 - You're as Cold as Epcot.

"Well, at least most of the things to see at Epcot are inside."

I am pretty sure I should be banned from ever going to Florida in the winter.  The weather is always less than it is made out to be.  Way less.  It didn't quite get down to 27 degrees like the infamous Panama City Beach Spring Break 2002, but it definitely necessitated hats, gloves and a sleepsack for Leevi.

Bonus Photo:

See, we really were at Epcot.  You can tell by the giant sphere.  Well, at least you can tell that Leevi was at Epcot.  I swear though, I was behind the camera.

Day 143 - Magic Kingdom Reloaded

"I'm not even old enough for Ice Cream?  Seriously?  What's the point?  I'm just gonna sleep then."

Leevi was at the Magic Kingdom all day.  I swear.  For realz.  Turns out, there really isn't too much for a 4 1/2 month old to do at Magic Kingdom (let's be honest....anywhere).  At least he enjoyed playing with a spoon that *could* be used for eating Ice Cream.

Day 142 - Magic Kingdom

"'til we meet again."

Day 3: Magic Kingdom.  Do you want to know the real secret about the Magic Kingdom?  The most magical part is the ride back to your home/hotel/rental house (which, on a side note is THE way to go in Orlando.  Your own pool, 10 minute drive to the parks, plenty of space, and did I mention, your own pool.)

Thankfully I was able to cut out of work a few days early.  Granted I spent a lot of time on the phone, but hey, at least it was sunny while I was on the phone.

Day 141 - I Shamu-ze You.

'This ain't Sea World, this as real as it gets..."

Well, actually Leevi, yes...yes it is.  Sorry.

Day 140 - Wild Thing

"Who's ready to party with some elephants?  Come on, I'm not the only one, right?"

Family Adventure Time!  Well, the family packed on up and headed down south.  To Disney World, that is. First stop was the Animal Kingdom.  Unfortunately, I was stuck at the ol' grindstone, but everyone else had a blast.  Giraffes, Elephants, and even crocodiles made an appearance.  I think Leevi wasn't quite as excited as everyone else.  That is, until the Lion King show.  Then he got his boogy on.

Bonus Photo:

"If this is a "ride", you can call me a watermelon."

What Disney adventure would be complete without multiple tram/car/rail/cart/buggy/hang gliding/mud tunnel/monorail rides to get to the park?
